Day of Coordination
The last thing you want to worry about on your big day is if everything is going OK. You should be concentrating on getting ready, being with friends and family, and yes, even relaxing!
I added this service after being at several weddings where I saw the brides running around taking care of tasks rather than celebrating. Having years of event management experience, and now years of wedding experience, it is a natural extention of my services. In my volunteer work, since 2008, I have planned and hosted a benefit dinner and silent auction annually. So I basically plan my own “wedding” yearly. I understand what you are going through.
What I provide as your Day of Coordinator?
I will be available for the whole day of your wedding. This will help take pressure off of you as the bridal couple, and add piece of mind knowing someone is there to make sure things are being taken care of.
2 in-person meetings in order for me to have all the details and to provide advice. These meetings include talking about timing, vendors, set-up, rehearsal etc. I am also available via phone/email for questions. I also provide some tips, tricks, and pieces of advice if you want them!
Assist with Timeline. I will help you create a time line for the day to make things run as smooth as possible.
Communicate with vendors. About a week prior, I will be in touch with all your vendors to introduce myself and let them know they can contact me first with questions. This greatly reduces the questions you will be juggling on your wedding day.
Provide an itinerary for bridal party and vendors so they are well informed of times and locations. This will be provided ahead of time to each member of the bridal party, including parents, and others involved in your big day via email. I can also provide printed copies if needed.
I will be your point person the day of the wedding. I can communicate with vendors , be at the wedding location to accept flowers, make sure decorations are set up correctly, and take care of other last minute details. I can also be the person for your bridal party to contact in case of emergency.
Basic Set up of ceremony and reception. I will set up centerpieces, escort cards, gift tables at the reception site and simple decorations at reception site and ceremony site. If your decorations are extensive, I can bring in additional help for an additional fee.
I will stay at the wedding reception to make sure DJ, photographer and venue employees are kept informed of activities. This is important to keep the flow of the wedding moving, let the DJ know when you want to do special dances, and such.
I will attend your rehearsal. This is very important even if I am not the officiant. This gives me a chance to meet your bridal party and to see the layout of your venue.
I can still be your Officiant. See above what that includes. Pricing will depend on details of the wedding. I do discount the officiant package if you book me for both.
Please note – if wedding is very complicated, I may need an assistant or my husband Tom may perform officiating services if included so I can focus on coordination of bridal party during ceremony. Additional fees may apply.
I try to keep my DoC pricing as reasonable as possible. I like to work with couples who are planning their big day themselves but just need some extra help the day of.
My package starts at $750.
I do discount if you hire me as your officiant and your day of coordinator.
If I need to bring in additional help, the price will be adjusted. This will be determined once I know what your needs are.
